Cherie Hearts Preschool (MacPherson)

About Us

Established in 2005, Cherie Hearts Preschool believes that children are unique individuals who deserve to reach their potential. We pride ourselves on equipping children with critical 21st century skills that essentially help them adapt to a rapidly changing globalised world where demographics and technological advancements drive the future. The five key components in the SPIRAL Literacies Model™ enable today’s children to problem-solve, create, analyse, collaborate, communicate, and account responsibly. Through our holistic and engaging programmes, and in purposeful partnership with parents, our children are empowered to make decisions confidently and become independent life-long learners.

Our Branch Director

Ms Kathleen Chong is the Branch Director of Cherie Hearts Preschool, which she established in 2005. Prior to joining the early childhood industry, Ms Chong graduated with a degree in Business Administration from the National University of Singapore in 1990 and was also a MOE-certified teacher. She then went on to pursue early childhood studies and obtain a Diploma in Early Childhood (Leadership) in 2011.

Ms Chong has more than 14 years in the early childhood industry. Not only is Ms Chong equipped with the knowledge of providing high quality care and education to the children under her care, she is also well-supported by a dedicated team of preschool educators, majority of whom have been with the Centre between three and 14 years.

Here are just some words from our happy parents!

Shankar looks forward to and enjoys going to school every day. Not only are we very pleased to see Shankar being groomed in the way we desire, his communication skills have also shown great improvement. It has only been a couple of months since we enrolled Shankar to the Centre and he has already become more independent. That’s why we’ve decided to convert him from the half-day to full-day programme. As he continues to spend more time at the Centre, we are confident that Shankar will learn to listen, focus, and socialise much better.

It’s with a grateful heart as we write this testimonial for Cherie Hearts Preschool. We are so happy that Shuyao had been in good hands at the Centre for the past 5 years. She loved all the teachers who taught her from Playgroup to K2 so we know Shuyao had been well-taught and loved by all of them. From the in-house activities planned, the decorations put up, and the friendships fostered – they have helped Shuyao believe that going to school is fun a thing to do every morning!

Thank you for leaving Shuyao with all the wonderful childhood memories created at the Centre. Our family is thankful for this memorable and enjoyable journey.
