About Us

Cherie Hearts @ Science Park I prides itself on providing comprehensive preschool educational programmes. Our learning environment and materials are specially designed to facilitate learning through self-discovery and exploration. We aim to build the skills required for lifelong learning by making school fun and enjoyable for little ones. Through our nurturing approach, we hope to instil a love for learning in your child and an early foundation for independent study. With our proven, effective curriculum taught by specially trained teachers in early childhood, your child can look forward to enjoying and learning with us.  Our lower than required teacher to child ratio also ensures that your child will receive the greatest care and education possible.

Easily accessible by public transport Cherie Hearts @ Science Park I is just two minutes away from Ayer Rajah Expressway. Parents who drive will be pleased to know that there is a sheltered drop-off point and 10-minute grace period for parking at The Rutherford building where the Centre is located. Kent Ridge MRT, which is at the door step of Science Park I, is another convenient way for parents to drop off and pick up their children.

Meet Our Branch Director

Branch Director Ms Cindy Teoh’s love for children and passion in the early childhood industry has led her to establish Cherie Hearts @ Science Park I in 2010. As a mother herself, Ms Teoh acknowledges the importance of providing high quality care and education to young children. Not only is she able to understand children and identify their needs, Ms Teoh also strongly believes in working closely with parents to facilitate children’s learning outside the classroom environment.

The team of dedicated and trained educators and support staff looks forward to nurturing and educating children with a comprehensive foundation in early childhood development at Cherie Hearts @ Science Park I.

Our Multi-Literacies Approach

Civic-Social Literacy

There have been no dull moments for Derrick at the Centre. He always updates us about the new activities (e.g. games, dance, life skills & science topics) that he has learnt or picked up for the day. The educators are caring and attentive in general. We wish to commend Teacher Jaya for making an effort to communicate and work with us on Derrick’s strengths and weaknesses. Overall, we have seen positive changes in Derrick’s development. He is now able to express himself better, more independent, and execute simple chores on his own.

Celine enjoys learning and playing with her friends every day. We appreciate that the educators show the children lots of love and attention; the guidance given to children is also evident. When the children express the desire to go beyond the set curriculum, the educators are always happy and willing to take the children’s learning to the next level. Teacher Ezah is an attentive teacher who observes the children well in order to give them the best exposure at their level. Celine shares her day at the Centre with us happily every evening!

Ellie interacts well with her friends and educators and often speaks of how much she loves them. Not only does Ellie immensely enjoy the songs learnt in class, I’m also very impressed by the accuracy and improvement made in conversational Mandarin under the Chinese educator’s patient and enthusiastic teaching. This is remarkable progress in light of how we barely speak the language at home. I was also very impressed by how dedicated the educators and staff were in preparing children for the Centre’s Year-End Concert last year.
