Temporary Suspension of General Services

In-line with the Ministry of Education (MOE) and Ministry of Social and Family Development’s (MSF) instruction, all Cherie Hearts preschools will suspend general services from 8 April until 4 May. The aim of this action is to play our part in our Multi-Ministry Taskforce’s elevated set of safe distancing measures announced on 3 April 2020.
During this period our centres will provide a ‘limited service’ to care for children whose parents are employed in businesses that have been marked as essential services and also have no means of alternative care.

For our families that do not qualify for limited service, we will be supporting your child’s learning journey by providing you with home based learning ideas and activities that you can enjoy doing with your child, while at home. These activities will be derived from the topics and themes that would have been covered in the classroom during this term. Activities designed to reinforce your child’s social skills, practical life skills, linguistic skills, numeracy skills and skills in other areas of learning domains will be covered to ensure the continued holistic development of your child. We trust that with your continued partnership, we can tide over these unprecedented circumstances with minimal disruption to your child’s learning and development. Our centre staff will also be in touch with you regularly to get an update on how your child is progressing.

Thank you for your continued support and should you have any further questions please contact your Centre Leader.
